Who We Are

We are a community of people in process -- people who need the life-transforming grace of Jesus. We pursue his grace together, helping each other grow and become the people he intends for us to be, living out his purpose for our lives.  We explain that purpose like this:

We exist to connect people to the God who made them, to friends who help them, and to a world that needs them.

Whatever your story, your questions or your struggles, we invite you to consider following Jesus with us.

The good news

"God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him." -- Jesus (John 3:17)

The Bible teaches that God made us in his image to know him and enjoy his goodness forever. But we have all chosen our own ways instead of God's ways, and have preferred other things above him. "All have sinned and fall short of God's glory" and "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 3:23; 6:23). Our connection with God is broken and we can't fix it by any effort of our own.

The good news is that God offers us connection with himself in the person of his Son, Jesus Christ. When Jesus died on the cross, he took upon himself the punishment that our sins deserve. And when he rose from the dead, he proved that he is who he claimed to be: "I am the way, the truth and the life - no one comes to the Father but through me" (John 14:6).

We experience connection with God by trusting Jesus and receiving him into our lives. "As many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in his name" (John 1:12).

Being connected to God is not a religion or ritual -- it is a relationship that begins when we ask Jesus to forgive our sins and lead our lives. "God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life" (1 John 5:11-12).

If this makes sense to you, you can pray to begin a relationship with Jesus today. Tell him you are willing to turn from your own sinful ways and ask him to forgive you and begin leading your life.
